Broken Hearts... (5-1-02 to 5-30-02)
We were thrilled to have our close friends Steve and Alli Bush live with us for the month of May. I have never had a month go by so fast. It was a full house with all Eleven of us packed in...but it was very much a party. Our three children are bored stiff without the Bush kids here to hang with. This house is way to quiet now.
It was a great time to get to share our lives with them. There were many tears as they left to head over to Europe. We know that our visits will be less frequent, and many miles and an ocean will separate our families....but you guys will always be close at heart to us. If the need ever arises, remember that you will always have a home with us.

Tracy is home...whew.. ( 6-7-02)
Tracy arrived back safe and sound last week from her week in Chicago. She went with the worship team from church to the WillowCreek conference. It is such a great thing to see her and the team come back with fresh ideas, new projects and energized spirits! She was gone the week and I was playing Mr. Mom, and badly, but we survived. I must say I am sick of McDonalds.
Here Come the Pittmans!(6-24-02)
Wow...we cannot wait for Jeff and Steph and the baby to get here. They will be coming from PA the end of this month, and we are stoked to get to see them again...they have been away far to long. We have longed to get our hands on that little baby girl. Peri will be thrilled to have real live baby doll in the house. Tracy and I are trying to bribe them into staying longer then a week...maybe if we hide their keys? More to come...
Jamaica is on the horizon ( ship out 7-24-02)
Man, where has the time gone. I will be leaving for Jamaica on a missions project to help build housing in a poor part of the country. It is a shame I won't be able to use my Spanish there. I have been trying to get into shape as there are about 25 teenagers that we will be in charge of....and I don't want to be the slow old man down there. I just about have all the funds together for the trip...but it will be interesting.
